OUR DIFFERENCE

What sets Trusst Buildings apart from the rest???

Posts
Laminated Post
Laminated Post

Posts

We use laminated 3 ply or 4 ply posts that are glued/ nailed together with the bottom being .60 cca pressure treat. Only the best lumber is used to make these laminated columns. To make this post even better, we go the extra measure and apply a waterproof coating on the bottom 48" of the post. We do this to help aid against the microorganisms and water leaching into the post so you can rest assured you're getting full life plus some out of the traditional methods of a post framed building.

Optional Footing Design

Footings

Our traditional footing design is typically digging a 18" wide by 48" deep post hole with the bottom portion being belled out to accommodate the pour in place concrete footing at the bottom of the post hole.  The size of the concrete footings is determined by our engineer, which is based on building specs and site specifics.  This gives your post a solid foundation to sit on and preventing any settlement within the post.

If you're the type that would not sleep easy knowing your post is imbedded in the ground even after taking our preventative measure to ensure post life, we have a solution for you. We offer an optional footing design that uses a concrete pier system. This is a pour in place metal post bracket to eliminate posts in the ground!

Framing

Post Frame HYBRID

While using our traditional post frame methods, Trusst Buildings designed an optional roof system that goes with our post frame body. This we call our HYBRID, which allows us to land trusses on a 24" layout like stick built.

Exterior
Post Rib Metal
Pacific Rib Metal

Exterior

Our traditional exterior is 29-gauge metal with a warranty!

By using our local metal supplier, we can offer 24 colors in the standard 29 gauge. We also offer a handful of specialty colors for a small upcharge. Still don't see the color you're envisioning, there are also addition color in 26-gauge metal. In addition to these, you could even use the new wood grain printed steel to give your buildings a unique look and stand out from the rest Don't forget we can also do custom exteriors! So many choices...

We use a "post rib' metal profile, with an option to use a more modern "pacific" rib profile, typically used on the roof to break the building up a bit.

We face wrap all of our overhead door frames with 2x4's and metal trim to give your buildings a nice clean bold door wrap. In addition, we also wrap our walk-in door jambs with metal trim to match and are maintenance free!
